We are seeking a senior-level Certification Program Manager to lead full lifecycle aerospace certification efforts for our client’s next generation predictive Health and Usage Monitoring System (HUMS). In this role, you will take complete ownership of certification programs from initial design and build through installation and final regulatory approval. Serving as a key customer liaison and cross-functional coordinator across engineering, production, and regulatory bodies, you will drive execution in a fast-paced environment where your leadership directly impacts product deployment.
This position is available remotely, requiring up to 50% travel.
Key Responsibilities: • Program & Cross-Functional Leadership: Direct systems, mechanical, and electrical engineering tasks across concurrent programs, approving technical drawings, engineering reports, and test documentation while overseeing contractor support.
• Regulatory Compliance & Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for FAA Designated Engineering Representatives (DERs), Designated Airworthiness Representatives (DARs), and foreign regulatory bodies; lead certification plan development, PMA submissions, and foreign validations.
• Certification Testing & Execution: Plan and execute comprehensive certification test campaigns, including conformity inspections, ground/flight testing, DO-160 testing, and DER-witnessed events.
• Installation & Deployment Operations: Coordinate hardware delivery with production and oversee aircraft operator installations, inspections, and STC documentation management.
• Stakeholder & Schedule Management: Maintain program rollouts, communicate regulatory scope clearly to internal and external partners, and lead agency/ODA progress meetings.
