flyADVANCED is seeking an experienced CE-560XL Type-Rated Pilot in Command (PiC) to join our Part 135 charter operation based in New Castle, Delaware.
Applicants must already possess a current CE-560XL type rating. This position is not approved for initial type-rating training. Candidates must reside, or be willing to relocate, within a two-hour drive of our New Castle, DE base.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
• The Pilot is responsible for providing a superior air transportation experience while maintaining flyADVANCED's commitment to safety, professionalism, and exceptional customer service. • Serve as Pilot in Command for domestic and international Part 135 operations in the Citation XL/S-XL • Exercise final authority over the safe operation of the aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, company policies, OEM procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures • Conduct thorough preflight planning, passenger briefings, and crew briefings. • Ensure safe aircraft operation during all phases of flight, including taxi, takeoff, cruise, approach, landing, and post-flight • Coordinate closely with the Second-in-Command and Maintenance Control regarding aircraft discrepancies and maintenance items. • Complete all required flight, maintenance, and operational documentation accurately and promptly. • Deliver a concierge-level customer experience while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism • Must be comfortable operating flights involving pets and passengers who smoke. • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills:
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate • Current CE-560XL Type Rating (Required) • Minimum 2,000 hours Total Flight Time • Current First Class Medical Certificate • Must be at least 21 years of age • Valid United States Passport with unrestricted international travel privileges • Valid driver's license • Ability to obtain required airport security credentials and pass all required background screenings • Must be able to work varying schedules including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended duty periods as operationally required • Must be able to manage rest requirements and remain fit for flight duty • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to make sound decisions under pressure while maintaining attention to detail • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally • High school diploma or equivalent
