Keep Business Aircraft Connected, Compliant, and Mission Ready Toledo Jet is seeking a skilled and motivated Avionics Technician to join our Toledo Express Airport (KTOL) maintenance team. This position is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, repair, modification, testing, and maintenance of aircraft avionics and electrical systems on a variety of turbine and corporate aircraft. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, technically proficient, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining strong safety and regulatory-compliance standards. What You'll Do · Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft avionics and electrical systems. · Diagnose and correct discrepancies involving communication, navigation, flight management, autopilot, transponder, ADS-B, radar, entertainment, and related aircraft electronic systems. · Perform avionics upgrades, modifications, and system integrations. · Conduct functional testing and operational checks following maintenance and installations. · Read and interpret wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, installation instructions, schematics, and aircraft maintenance manuals. · Fabricate wiring harnesses and perform aircraft electrical repairs. · Use avionics test equipment and troubleshooting tools to identify and correct system discrepancies. · Ensure work is completed in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, approved technical data, and company procedures. · Accurately document maintenance actions, discrepancies, and corrective actions. · Assist with aircraft-on-ground (AOG) troubleshooting and support as operationally needed. · Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment.
