Avionics Technician Pay : up to $60/hr Per diem splits for eligible candidates Located : Allentown, PA **Open to any airframe experience** Position Summary Perform avionics installations, modifications, troubleshooting, and repairs on corporate aircraft, with a strong focus on Gulfstream platforms. This role requires hands-on avionics expertise in a fast-paced repair station environment. Key Responsibilities • Install, troubleshoot, and repair avionics systems on corporate aircraft. • Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals. • Install, route, terminate, and repair avionics wiring and harnesses. • Diagnose system discrepancies using avionics test equipment. • Perform operational checks and functional testing following installation or repair. • Document maintenance activities in accordance with FAA and repair station requirements. • Collaborate with maintenance teams to meet project schedules. • Work 1st shift and overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications • 5+ years of avionics installation and troubleshooting experience. • Experience working on aircraft avionics systems; Gulfstream experience preferred. • Strong electrical and wiring troubleshooting skills. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. • Own basic avionics hand tools. • Ability to work in a fast-paced maintenance environment.
Preferred Qualifications • Corporate jet or helicopter avionics experience. • Military aviation avionics. • Previous repair station or MRO experience. • Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
Work Environment Hangar-based corporate aircraft maintenance environment. Primarily 1st shift with overtime available.
