TASK DESCRIPTION: The incumbent of this task will test, troubleshoot, and repair ECM and Defensive Electronic Counter Measures (DECM) systems at the I-Level of maintenance. TASK REQUIREMENTS: 1. Test, troubleshoot, and repair ECM/DECM Weapon Replaceable Assemblies (WRAs) and Shop Replaceable Assemblies (SRAs) for following F/A-18 systems: a.

AN/ALR-67 b. AN/ALE-39 & ALE 47 c. AN/ALQ-162 d.

AN/ALQ-126 & ALQ 214 2. Test, troubleshoot, and repair above systems WRA/SRA materials using the AN/USM-636 CASS and AN/USM458C (New Electronic Test Set (NEWTS)) test bench platforms. 3.

Provide OJT to KAF personnel on the operation of test equipment and system repair. MINIMUM PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Minimum of four (4) years experience repairing electronic equipment, with a minimum of two (2) years experience repairing above listed ECM/DECM systems.

2. Graduate of ECM/DECM operator/maintainer school. 3.

Understanding of electrostatic discharge dangers. 4. Proficient in the use of AN/USM-636 CASS and associate TPS.

5. A US Secret security clearance is required.
