Avionic Technician Location: Perkasie, PA Pay: $30 - $40/hr (Per diem split available for eligible candidates) Position Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire Shift: Multiple Shifts Available Open to candidates with any aircraft airframe experience Job Description We are seeking a skilled Avionics Technician to support avionics modifications and installations on S-61 helicopters . This role involves avionics installations, aircraft wiring, and wire terminations while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Responsibilities • Perform avionics installations and modifications on S-61 helicopters. • Install, route, and terminate aircraft wiring. • Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings. • Perform soldering, crimping, and electrical assembly work. • Utilize personal tools to complete installations and assemblies. • Ensure all work meets company and safety standards.
Qualifications • 3+ years of avionics installation experience. • Experience with aircraft wiring and wire terminations. • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics. • Experience with soldering and crimping. • Must have personal tools required for avionics work.
Work Environment Work is performed in a hangar environment supporting S-61 helicopter maintenance and modification programs. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
