Pay: $60,000–$65,000 per year

Overview

The Dispatch department is the company's central point of communication for flight operations and is staffed 24/7. The primary focus of the department is to ensure that all flights are operated in compliance with Company policy, procedures, and regulatory requirements, and to provide a high level of customer service to clients and flight crews in support of their trips each day.

Essential Responsibilities/Duties

• Verify that each scheduled flight is in compliance with FAA Part 135 and 91 regulations and Solairus company policy and issue releases to flight crews

• Maintain situation awareness of all flights while on shift

• Arrange trip logistics and service items as necessary to support the clients and flight crew.

• Review and verify flight logs submitted by crews.

• Evaluate next day’s flights for possible compliance issues (crew legality, maintenance discrepancies) and direct any concerns to the proper department for resolution

• Confirm flight and duty time limitations for flight crews to ensure compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and Solairus Flight Operations Manuals.

• Facilitate an effective pass off from one shift to the next to ensure all task and follow up items are addressed.

Qualifications

• At least two years of corporate aviation scheduling experience

• Excellent Interpersonal and Customer Service Skills

• Ability to work with the Solairus flight planning and scheduling software, and the Microsoft Windows and Office Software.

• Ability to interact effectively as a team member with other Dispatchers and Flight Coordinators.

• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all cases regarding client information and travel schedule.

• Knowledge of aircraft scheduling principles and aircraft trip planning resources including knowledge of FAA regulations, airport information, resources available for trip planning, aircraft and trip support, and weather monitoring.

• Ability to quickly learn and assimilate Solairus flight operations standards and policy.

• Skill in organizing and performing detail-oriented and timely duties and functions.
