Part 135 air ambulance company seeks an Astra SPX type-rated Captain or Second-in-Command for an ILG-based aircraft. Candidates must live within a two-hour drive of Wilmington Airport or be willing to relocate.
Responsibilities include safe flight operations, flight planning, aircraft readiness, and coordination with dispatch, maintenance, and medical crews.
Qualifications:
• Astra SPX type rating; recent experience in type preferred. • Appropriate FAA pilot certificates and current medical. • Meet applicable Part 135 and company requirements for the position. • Strong judgment, communication, and crew coordination skills. • Availability for an on-call schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. • Previous Part 135 or air ambulance experience preferred.
