Analytics Specialist, Operations Performance and Planning

Delta's OP&P Crew Planning & Performance team is responsible for maximize crew availability by forecasting demand & optimally placing supply, delivering analytical insights to improving DL's operational performance.

The broader team link planning decisions to crew performance outcomes to continuously improve results, scales & standardizes best practices across the pilot & flight attendant crew divisions and connects the dots between crew performance and the broader operation / enterprise. The Analytics Specialist will be asked to work closely with leaders on the IFS and FOP Crew teams, as well as the broader OP&P organization to develop creative solutions to current challenges.

Additionally, they will exhibit strategic vision, strong analytical/process skills, a bias for action, and the ability to partner with senior operational leaders to influence strategy, improve the Delta customer experience, improve operational reliability, and drive results. • Partner with both IFS and FOP crew teams to identify and solve for opportunities in Crew Planni • Create insightful executive-level and frontline dashboards using data visualization too • Develop analytics solutions to divisional challenges and operationalize with modern tool s • Forecast future operational metrics and work with business unit to include in their planning and execution processe • Improve the historic processes within the division by implementing data driven solutio • Locate and extract data from a variety of sources for use in analysis, models, and project developme • Support development of executive level decks and present findings to business leadersh • Enjoy working in a high-profile environment with fluid priorities, ambiguity, and aggressive timelin • Identify and resolve or escalate, as appropriate, potential roadblocks within projec • Be intellectually curious, ask questions, and speak up when they have an id • Have a team first attitude, with the success of our team and business partners as their top priori • Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedur
