Aircraft Maintenance Technician – Falcon 50 Fleet

Resort Air / Mid Pacific Jets Employment Type: Full-Time, Salaried Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 per year, depending on experience

About the Position Resort Air / Mid Pacific Jets is seeking an experienced FAA-certificated A&P Mechanic to join our maintenance team supporting our company-operated aircraft.

Resort Air and Mid Pacific Jets operate as the exclusive Hawaiian Islands jet charter company , providing private jet charter service throughout the islands and supporting an active corporate aircraft operation. This is a full-time salaried position with a primary focus on our Dassault Falcon 50 fleet .

Unlike a traditional production maintenance or MRO environment, this position involves directly supporting an active flight operation. Our maintenance team works closely with Maintenance Control, flight crews, management, and outside maintenance providers to keep the fleet safe, compliant, and available for operation. We are looking for a mechanic who is comfortable taking ownership of aircraft, troubleshooting discrepancies, performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and working independently when necessary. Responsibilities

The Aircraft Maintenance Technician will be responsible for duties including:

• Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on company aircraft

• Troubleshooting aircraft discrepancies and determining appropriate corrective action

• Performing inspections, servicing, repairs, component replacements, and operational checks

• Supporting Falcon 50 maintenance, inspections, and return-to-service activities

• Responding to maintenance discrepancies generated during flight operations

• Coordinating with Maintenance Control regarding aircraft status and maintenance requirements

• Assisting with MEL items, deferred maintenance, and corrective actions

• Properly documenting all maintenance performed in accordance with FAA requirements and company procedures

• Completing aircraft logbook entries and associated maintenance documentation

• Working with outside repair stations, vendors, and mobile maintenance providers when required

• Monitoring aircraft condition and identifying developing maintenance issues before they become operational interruptions

• Supporting scheduled inspection planning and aircraft downtime

• Maintaining company tooling, equipment, parts, and maintenance areas

• Traveling to support company aircraft when operationally necessary

• Supporting flight operations outside normal business hours when aircraft maintenance needs arise

This is an operational aviation environment. Candidates should understand that aircraft schedules do not always follow normal Monday-through-Friday business hours.

Compensation

This is a full-time salaried position paying $120,000 to $150,000 per year , depending upon experience, qualifications, and applicable aircraft background.

Candidates with significant Falcon 50, Falcon, TFE731, or comparable corporate-jet experience may be considered toward the upper end of the compensation range.

Benefits

Resort Air offers a competitive benefits package including:

• Medical insurance

• Dental insurance

• Paid Time Off (PTO)

• 401(k) eligibility after one year of employment

• Moving / relocation allowance for qualified candidates

• Full-time salaried employment

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who considers themselves an aircraft mechanic first—not simply a parts changer.

The ideal candidate is comfortable receiving a discrepancy, opening the maintenance manual and wiring diagrams, developing a troubleshooting plan, finding the actual cause of the problem, correcting it, properly documenting the work, and returning the aircraft to service.

Because our aircraft are actively utilized, dispatch reliability matters . We need someone who understands the operational consequences of maintenance decisions while never compromising regulatory compliance or safety. The right candidate should be dependable, organized, mechanically capable, and comfortable working in an environment where priorities can change quickly based upon the flying schedule.

Apply

Please submit your resume along with a brief description of your aircraft experience, including any experience with: • Dassault Falcon aircraft

• Falcon 50 aircraft

• TFE731-powered aircraft

• Corporate or Part 135 operations

• Troubleshooting and AOG maintenance

•

Qualified candidates will be contacted to schedule an interview.
