JetPro is seeking experienced Bay-Area Aircraft Maintenance Technicians who are independent, adaptable, and highly skilled to join our on-demand W2 contractor network. Operating as a critical resource for elite corporate flight departments and Part 91/135 operators, you will provide targeted flightline support, routine scheduled maintenance, and rapid-response troubleshooting during high-priority AOG (Aircraft on Ground) windows. This role is built specifically for self-motivated individuals who are looking for assignments to apply their technical expertise, without a full-time commitment.
Key Responsibilities • On-Demand Maintenance: Perform project-based inspections, preventative maintenance, overnight checks, and time-critical repairs on airframes, powerplants, and mechanical systems.
• System Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex mechanical, hydraulic, electrical (EWIS), environmental, and pneumatic system faults using diagnostic tools, technical data, and manuals.
• Component Management: Safely remove, test, and replace Line Replaceable Units (LRUs), pumps, filters, landing gear components, tires, and brakes to ensure minimal aircraft downtime.
• Interior & Structural Care: Remove and install aircraft interiors, floorboards, panels, seats, and overhead bins to conduct special inspections for corrosion, distortion, or structural defects.
• Flightline Operations: Safely conduct aircraft marshalling, towing, fueling/defueling, engine runs, and fluid servicing.
• Documentation: Read and interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and service bulletins. Accurately document all maintenance actions and sign-offs in accordance with FAA standards.
