We are a growing FAA Part 135 operator seeking a highly motivated Aircraft Maintenance Planning & Support Engineer to strengthen our Maintenance Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an aviation professional who enjoys combining technical planning with hands-on maintenance support in a dynamic charter environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the continued airworthiness and operational readiness of our fleet of Textron (Citation) and Bombardier aircraft.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, coordinate and monitor scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities. • Develop maintenance work packages and ensure maintenance events are completed on schedule. • Coordinate with FAA-approved repair stations, OEMs, vendors and suppliers. • Monitor inspection intervals, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and maintenance programs. • Maintain accurate aircraft maintenance records and ensure regulatory compliance. • Support aircraft downtime planning and fleet availability. • Assist with troubleshooting, defect management and return-to-service planning. • Provide hands-on support during maintenance events when required, including inspections, component replacement and troubleshooting under the supervision of appropriately authorized personnel where applicable. • Assist with AOG events and occasional travel to maintenance facilities. • Support continuous improvement of maintenance processes and reliability programs. • Work closely with Flight Operations, Quality Assurance and Maintenance Control to ensure safe and efficient aircraft operations.
Qualifications
• Degree or diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related aviation technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience. • Experience in business aviation, preferably within an FAA Part 135 or EASA commercial environment. • Working knowledge of Textron Citation and/or Bombardier aircraft is highly desirable. • Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance planning, technical documentation and regulatory requirements. • Experience with computerized maintenance tracking systems is an advantage. • Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
An FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate or EASA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance License is welcome but is not a mandatory requirement for this position. Candidates with strong aircraft maintenance planning and technical support experience are encouraged to apply.
