A&P Mechanic – General Aviation Location: La Grange, TX 78945
Aircraft: General Aviation / Piston Aircraft Position Overview We are currently hiring experienced FAA-licensed A&P Mechanics in La Grange, Texas . This position will perform maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and servicing on a variety of general aviation and piston aircraft . Aircraft may include Piper Navajo, Piper Malibu, Piper Saratoga , and other similar general aviation aircraft. Candidates should be hands-on, dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in both hangar and line maintenance environments .
Responsibilities • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on general aviation and piston aircraft.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace aircraft systems and components.
• Perform routine and preventative aircraft maintenance.
• Diagnose mechanical discrepancies and complete required repairs.
• Perform maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, maintenance manuals, and company procedures.
• Properly document maintenance and repairs performed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work in both hangar and line maintenance environments.
• Use personal tools and equipment necessary to complete assigned maintenance tasks.
• Work independently and as part of a maintenance team to safely return aircraft to service.
