Position Summary Aeronautical Technologies Inc is seeking a dependable, safety-focused A&P Aircraft Mechanic to support our agricultural aviation and aerial firefighting operations in Clovis, New Mexico. The mechanic will inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair company aircraft in accordance with FAA requirements, manufacturer guidance, and company procedures. This role is well suited for a hands-on aviation professional who works carefully, communicates clearly, and can help keep mission-critical aircraft ready for service.
Key Responsibilities · Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and component replacements on company aircraft. · Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fuel, and related aircraft system issues using approved technical data and sound maintenance practices. · Maintain fixed-wing aircraft and, when qualified, assist with helicopter maintenance. · Complete maintenance records, logbook entries, work orders, and inspection documentation accurately and on time. · Follow FAA regulations, manufacturer maintenance manuals, service information, company procedures, and applicable safety requirements. · Support aircraft readiness during agricultural and firefighting operations, including time-sensitive maintenance needs. · Maintain an organized work area and properly care for tools, equipment, parts, and materials. · Coordinate with pilots, maintenance personnel, and operations staff regarding aircraft status and return-to-service needs. · Travel to field locations or operational bases as needed and available.
