Instrument checkride is coming up and I have still never crossed the ridge in anything but clear air. What are people using for personal minimums out here in winter?

Wind at ridge level over 25 knots and I stay home in a light single. Not because the airplane cannot do it. Because the ride teaches you things you did not want to learn.

And add an hour of fuel to whatever you think you need. The diversion airports out there are further apart than the chart makes them look.
