how far out should i start worrying about the written? im nowhere near the practical but everyone says get the written done early and nobody says why
Two reasons. It expires 24 calendar months out, so early plus slow training is the one way to get burned. And knowing the material makes the flying lessons cheaper because you are not learning theory at 130 dollars an hour.
The second reason is the real one. I can tell within ten minutes of the oral who did the reading before the flying and who did it after.
