Tower and airfield ops should talk more than we do. We share a runway and a radio and about two meetings a year. Every airport I have worked has had a version of this gap and nobody thinks it is their job to close it.

Snow plan review season. Our biggest lesson from last winter was that the field condition report is only as good as how fast it gets published. We cut our reporting delay from 25 minutes to under 8 and it changed more about safety than any equipment we bought.

line service pay question and i hope this is ok to ask. i make 17 an hour, i marshal, fuel, tow, de-ice, and clean. is that normal for a jet center or am i being taken advantage of? nobody at work will talk about numbers
